The Joseph Maffeo Foundation was created by Linda Manfredi in memory of her brother’s, Joseph Maffeo’s, death on 9/11. “It helps us remember of what, and who my brother was. He truly was an individual who was selfless. He gave up himself at the cost of his own life”. The Foundation raises funds through private and corporate donations as well as various annual fundraising events; these funds are for the betterment of the “Women & Children’s Services” at Staten Island University Hospital. At the event, Dr. Brahim Ardolic and Frank Morisano were the recipients for the 9th Annual Staten Island Angel Award. These two individuals were honored this award because of their compassion, commitment, and selflessness to the Staten Island Emergency Medical Care for the years.
In the end, the 9th annual Joseph Maffeo Foundation Casino Night raiser had a great turnout of attendees, and Audience Pleasers was enlightened to work with the talented members of the Joseph Maffeo Foundation.
