The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital hosted an indoor carnival this past weekend for its patients born prematurely in their pediatric unit and their families. Ultimately the carnival was a reunion and celebration filled with Audience Pleasers fine entertainment.
Gigantic red and white balloon arches marked the entrance of the reunion with a check-in table on your right and refreshments located to your left. Audience Pleasers provided freshly popped popcorn and your choice of cherry or grape snow cones to enjoy. Children of all ages were in attendance and had the opportunity to laugh with the strolling clown, get their faces painted or jump around in the inflatable moon walk or inflatable jungle gym.
Speeches in the beginning of the event were kept to a minimum and all guests were able to relax and socialize at the tables, while enjoying the scrumptious buffet provided. Each table was adorned with popcorn filled center pieces and red and white balloons. Red and white pipe and drape surrounded the entire event with various carnival themed backdrops behind several of the carnival booths. Winners of the carnival games received tickets they could turn in for prizes. The prize booth had six tiers of choices and other various prizes for single ticket winners.
