Joseph Maffeo Foundation Casino Night
The Joseph Maffeo Foundation hosted their annual Audience Pleasers Casino Night. The benefit was held at Nicotra’s Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, New York. The money raised from the event will be donated to benefit the ongoing and future pediatric programs for the children’s wing at Staten Island University Hospital.
The Joseph Maffeo Foundation has supported the Children’s wing at Staten Island University Hospital before and has helped with previous stages of this project. Anthony C. Ferreri, President and Chief Executive Officer of Staten Island University Hospital said, “The much-needed renovations to the entire Pediatric Unit will enhance the care of our children and aid in the comfort of their parents and family members.” He continued on saying “your support of the Joseph Maffeo Children’s Program will have a major positive impact in how we deliver health care to the children of Staten Island”.
The evening included a buffet, open bar, and a collectibles and memorabilia silent auction. The entertainment was produced entirely by Audience Pleasers. Audience Pleasers has produced hundreds of benefits for non-for-profit organizations. All guests that purchased tickets for the foundation’s event were given $50.00 in gaming chips and the casino games included Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Let It Ride, Money Wheel and a Texas Holdem’ Tournament.
