Dennis Telischak Wins Coveted Award From International Organization
Montclair, N.J., Sept. 8th, 2010- The International Special Events Society event world conference was held in Baltimore this year, with over 500 event planners in attendance for three days of seminars, training, and an awards banquet. ISES is a world-renowned association involved in the education and advancement in the special events industry. To receive recognition from an organization with over a thousand members is unlikely and highly desired.
Kathy DeLuca, President of ISES along with one of the founders of ISES-J. Robert Graves-presented Dennis Telischak of Audience Pleasers with the coveted J. Robert Graves Pioneer Award. The J. Robert Graves- Pioneer Award is present to the volunteer who has contributed to the growth and development of the event planning society.
“Telischak just finished his term as president of ISES New Jersey North Chapter and was an instrumental part of jump starting his chapter,” said DeLuca. “This chapter has thrived this year, had good retention and growth in a recession, and has produced great programs and events under his leadership.”
Telischak has been involved in the event planning industry for 6 years and a member of ISES for 6 years as well. His company Audience pleasers however has been in business for over four decades. “This was completely unexpected. I am so honored to receive such recognition from my peers as well as the likes of J. Robert Graves the “grandfather of ISES” himself. It is truly amazing and words can barely describe how appreciative I am,” says the President of Audience Pleasers, Dennis Telischak. In addition to the award, Dennis was part of the Northeast Region that won the ISES Region of the Year Award 2009-2010.
