Audience Pleasers Interns Receive Awards
On Thursday, May 14th, Audience Pleasers very own Marketing Managers received the Outstanding Event Planner and Outstanding Intern Awards at the Montclair State University School of Business Department of Marketing Awards Dinner Reception. To qualify for the awards both did an outstanding job by creating, new advertising concepts, developing and implementing their ideas and then going live with a full marketing, communication, and PR program. The awards were given out by Dennis Telischak, President of Audience Pleasers. The recipients were students from Montclair State University who both graduated this year are Kimberly Safara and Samantha Kachler. We could not be any more proud of them.
Kim focused on the Casino Special Event side of Marketing, while Sam focused on Audience Pleasers marketing side. Both had various assignments of maintaining the websites, social media, sending out email blasts, writing up blogs, taking photos at events, creating postcards, flyers, and tri-folds. We are very thankful for their time, energy, and effort, and we wish them the best in their future careers.
As for Kim, Audience Pleasers had the honor of donating a 40ft. Balloon Arch to Montclair State University Sorority: Sigma Delta Tau Gamma Xi Chapter 15th Annual Tricky Tray, on Sunday, April 19th at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ. It was a great event to support.
In addition Sam was project leader for a major corporate client. As project Leader she was responsible for the initial onsite meetings with the corporate team, follow up with coordination letters and emails while completing the formal contract. On the day of the event, Sam was the one responsible for coordinating all the vendors and other staff and making sure the event went smoothly.
In presenting the awards to both Marketing Managers, Dennis Telischak stated that in the Army we had a saying, which was very appropriate for these achievements. “They went above and beyond the call of duty”.
Overall, it was a fun filled night of food catered by the Six Brothers Diner and a great speech from the keynote speaker Joe Cucci, retired from Procter & Gamble after 32 years as Vice President. The awards dinner was hosted at Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center by Montclair State University the School of Business Department of Marketing.
